A species of beetle has developed resistance to
Monsanto's Bt-corn, the
Western rootworm beetle, one of the most serious threats to corn has become resistant to Monsanto gm crop and entire crops are being lost. Many farmers in the Midwest US have reported damage to roots of corn that was engineered with a toxin to kill the rootworm.
