AFIA is pleased with the passing of the free trade Agreements

The American Feed Industry Association (AFIA) is pleased with the passing of the free trade Agreements (FTAs) with Korea, Panama and Colombia. The trade agreements are expected to increase exports by US$2.3 billion (€1.7 billion) well creating up to 20,000 jobs. “We are thrilled the Free Trade Agreements have finally received clearance after several years of delay,” said AFIA president and CEO Joel G. Newman. “In today’s economic downturn, America could not afford to sit on the sidelines anymore.
