Wheat decrease If triazole fungicides are banned

Danish wheat growers along with other EU wheat growers are waiting to see if the EU bans triazole fungicides. If the ban goes ahead the wheat producers that use triazole fungicides could be facing a loss of €34 million (US$45.467 million), which corresponds to a five percent drop in yields. This is the result of an investigation carried out by senior scientist Lise Nistrup Jørgensen from Aarhus University in collaboration with scientists from the United Kingdom and France.
